O’Donnell Consulting performed (FEA) design and analysis (to ASME Code) of two large scale containment pressure vessels and equipment subjected to high energy impact with a dual phase fluid at supersonic speed.
Design conditions included impact, thermal shock, and fatigue loading. Using finite element analysis, vessels, supports, nozzles, and flanged connections were designed and analyzed. Both vessels utilized removable heads, and thermal sleeves at the inlet nozzles.
We perform Finite Element design and analysis of pressure vessels and other process equipment to ASME Code.
