Static & dynamic finite element analysis (FEA) was performed on a 2 foot thick concrete foundation used to test turbomachinery.

The client was constructing new facilities to test their gas turbine power generation systems and components, and wished to verify that their foundations could withstand various static and dynamic loads. These conditions included a range of operating conditions and temperatures.
