Aerospace Engineering

Performing design, analysis and troubleshooting of aerospace components operating in elevated temperature and cryogenic conditions.

In addition, we perform structural dynamic analyses to predict loads and responses to environments including transient, random, and acoustic excitation.

Our 40+ years of experience has included safety evaluations of complex hardware under repeated dynamic loads, including aircraft hard landings, dynamic catapult and landing loads on aircraft carriers, temperature effects on the Space Shuttle Main Engines and qualification test conditions of aerospace components.

We were asked to perform a dynamic analysis of the Hubble Space Telescope. We determined that vibrations were induced due to a fourth order function of the transverse ligaments in the base structure. To see more of the projects we’ve worked on, see Portfolio.

Learn from the experience of others. Especially when one such “other” is Dr. William O’Donnell, PhD, PE, Founder and President of O’Donnell Consulting Engineers, Inc., and ASME “Engineer of the Year” – his 50 years of experience in analysis of components including fatigue and fracture safety evaluations and failure analyses are now comprised in this volume.

If you are interested learning more in Engineering Design, Manufacturing and Construction, as well as Failure Analysis, then this book is a must have!
