Problem Solving/ Preventive Maintenance
Inspections and weld and material evaluations are performed to analyze power plant equipment problems, correcting materials, design, and maintenance issues. Potential problems include:

We have consulted on numerous aspects of boiler design and operation and for many sizes and styles of boilers (coal boilers, supercritical boilers, atmospheric and pressurized fluid bed boilers). We have also performed third-party reviews of combustion instrumentation and controls, and their adherence to relevant standards. Our engineers have worked on waste-to-energy (landfill gas, biomass and coal waste fuels) as well as natural gas and coal-fired cogeneration plants. These projects have included design construction, startup/ comissioning, safety analyses and equipment life evaluations. In addition, they hold patents for the design of low NoX burners and NoX removal systems for post combustion and other process applications.
